Back in 1981, the Giesen brothers planted their first vines - probably not realising they were laying the foundation for one of New Zealandâs most celebrated wineries. Blending their German roots with a bold Kiwi spirit (and plenty of hard graft), theyâve spent over 40 years crafting wines made to be shared, savoured, and enjoyed.
Today, every bottle carries that same passion. Perfect for any night of the week.
VINIFICATION
Crafted to keep things fresh and full of life, this wine is fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks to lock in those vibrant fruit flavours. A little time on the lees adds a soft, textured mouthfeel.
To keep things lighter without losing flavour, a portion of the wine has the alcohol gently reduced using spinning cone technologyâresulting in a crisp, expressive Sauvignon Blanc at just 9.5% ABV.
